“Contemplate the outside and observe the sea, the lands of Sweden and Denmark at the same time. Feel free for a moment of our lifes, whose character changes over time. A place where activities are seen or not, or they are partially seen."

This Center for the Alternative Arts is next to the Louisiana Museum in Humlebaek, (Denmark). Thousands of tourists travel every year to this idyllic setting located a few kilometers from Copenhagen. An alternative space for the arts is proposed; a place to not only contemplate art but to make it.

The project includes exhibition spaces, leisure rooms, restaurants, workshops and even temporary residences for artists or just a one night room for a spontaneous tourist that wants to enjoy the powerful artistic atmosphere. The building is developed vertically, as opposed to the horizontality of the nearby Museum of Louisiana. The overhangs appear in all directions and all heights, to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

There are spaces for meditation where you choose what, how and when. Interrupted darkness and stories that surround us and make us loose the reference. A spot for the Arts; for all types of art. Art for everyone.
